Dungeons and Dragons creator Gary Gygax died yesterday at the age of 69. I'm certain this number would have elicited a hearty chortle followed by some girlish twittering from the grandfather of all geeks.
Gygax will be cremated, his body compressed into a 20-sided die and he will be buried in his mother's basement, where he probably spent most of his adult life. In death as in life, he will remain a virgin.
The coroner's report indicates that Gygax was killed during a battle with a troll who had more hit points.
